Tina Rickenback is recognized again!

We are proud to announce that Tina Rickenback, one of our nurse practitioners, was recently selected as the 2014 PNP of the Year for the Connecticut chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). She is also the Clinical Practice Chair for NAPNAP at the national level.
Our PNP's are registered nurses who have received additional, specialized training. They all have Masters of Science in Nursing graduate degrees, as well as certification as Advanced Pediatric Registered Nurses (A.P.R.N.). This means that they have successfully completed advanced courses and earned prescriptive authority (can sign their own prescriptions). Our PNP's work collaboratively with the physicians in caring for all of our patient's needs, and are available for annual and well child health assessments, as well as acute illnesses, and consultative appointments for behavioral and emotional concerns.
