Psychological and Behavioral Problems
From the day Wildwood Pediatrics opened its doors, we have been interested in and concerned about the emotional as well as the physical growth of children and adolescents.
We are available for extended consultations on varied topics including:
- Behavior and discipline
- Bed wetting
- Stool holding
- Sibling rivalries
- School learning problems
- School avoidance difficulties
- Teenage adjustment problems
Since children live in a family, anything upsetting the delicate balance of this unit can affect them. Therefore, we also are available to discuss marital problems, divorce and its impact on children, and other family difficulties.
When appropriate, we are able to provide consultation with outside therapists and to manage many of the newer medical and pharmacological approaches to psychological and behavioral problems.
