Teaching

All the caregivers at Wildwood Pediatrics have admitting privileges at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. On top of that, we all have accepted a teaching affiliation with the Hospital and University. Our nurse practitioners frequently have nurse practitioner students observing them in the office. On occasion, we have a senior Yale resident visiting our office for a one-month clerkship to learn more about practicing pediatric medicine in the “real” world. Frequently we will have nursing students and medical assistants observing in our offices as part of their pediatric experience/training.
