Flu and Covid Vaccines

As the Fall approaches, please know that we have the flu vaccine in the office and are scheduling appointments in our evening Flu clinics. You may also get the flu vaccine at an office visit. The Covid vaccine should be arriving shortly.
As you know, the flu can be uncomfortable – but also deadly. Influenza illness is no fun for anyone, but it can be especially dangerous for certain groups, such as infants and young children, people with asthma, diabetes or heart problems and certain other chronic health problems. The American Academy of Pediatrics advises that all children and adolescents be immunized against the flu.
Please note, the local health district, Connecticut River Area Health District (CRAHD) has clincis as well that offer the flu vaccinations for children 3 years of age and older. Please see the link below for CRAHD to find locations for a vaccine clinic near you!
Also, many pharmacies will give Flu and Covid for many children over the age of three.
