New to the Area?

Welcome to the Connecticut shoreline, home of two previous “Best Small Town” winners, Essex and Old Saybrook. In fact, all of southeastern Connecticut is a wonderful place to visit and live, and we all feel fortunate to call it our home.

If you are moving to the area, good luck as you make such a big transition. Certainly, finding the right medical care providers for you and your family is one of your top priorities. You may ask a trusted neighbor or co-worker for advice as well as the school nurse in the town you are moving in to. Also, we are happy to offer you a simple courtesy visit (free of charge) to meet with one of our doctors and become familiar with our office, so to gather a sense of the style of our practice. This time will allow us to gather basic general medical information and answer questions that you may have about our office. If there is a medical concern or issue that requires a more in-depth visit with your child, you are free to make a routine, consultative appointment as well.

Seasonal Patients Accepted

Over the years we have welcomed scores of families who come to the shoreline on vacation or visiting their friends and family. In fact, we have become the second medical “home” for many seasonal families as we see them for illnesses and urgent care concerns that develop while they are away from home. In coming to our office while away from your home, you will be seen in a setting comfortable for children and families, and it will allow your child to be seen by a pediatric care provider.
