The CDC and Their Misinformed Vaccine Policy

As many people have heard the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have drastically changed the vaccine schedule for newborns, infants and children. This was done without any true, rigorous scientific debate, and it tossed aside decades of scientifically proven data fully supporting the life saving vaccine schedule that has been followed in the United States.
Wildwood Pediatrics will continue to follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Connecticut Department of Public Health vaccine guidelines without any exception.
As stated in our Vaccination Policy, we will continue to allow into our practice, and care for, only families that intend to have their children fully vaccinated on schedule.
