Payment Methods & Plans

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made.

Accepted forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • American Express, Discover, MasterCard and VISA

Charging privileges may be granted upon special request, but they are just that: privileges. We expect that bills will be taken care of in a timely fashion (full payment in 30 days). Any and all costs associated with collection proceedings, including any and all reasonable attorney’s fees and any and all collection agency fees, are the responsibility of the patient. All balances over thirty days (30 days) may be subjected to a finance charge of 1 ½ % a month (18% a year).

Waiting for an insurance check, or an ex-spouse's payment, is not an adequate reason for delaying payments. If someone honestly has true financial problems, our staff is more than happy to help by making a payment plan. But, and we can’t stress this enough, we won’t know of your difficulty unless you take the initiative to call or write and tell us. Please, please, PLEASE don't wait to discuss a financial or billing problem(s) until a bill is overdue!

We are “participating physicians” in several health plans. These may change from time to time without notice, so if you are in doubt about the status of your plan, please check. Please also check at each visit to be certain that we have current, up to date information about your insurance coverage.

Non-Payment

Please don't wait to discuss a financial or billing problem until a bill is overdue! Although we wish we didn't have to do so, we have been forced to utilize the services of an outside collection agency for a number of long overdue accounts. All costs associated with such collection proceedings, including any and all reasonable attorney’s and/or collection agency fees, are the responsibility of the patient, and may be added to the total due. Once an account has been turned over for collection proceedings, charging privileges have to be revoked, and cash payment in full required at the time of all future visits.

Let us state again, if someone honestly has true financial problems, our staff is more than happy to help by making a payment plan. But, and we really can’t stress this enough, we won’t know of your difficulty unless you take the initiative to call or write and tell us. Please, please, PLEASE don't wait to discuss a financial or billing problem(s) until a bill is overdue!
