Wildwood Pediatrics joins in the Celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, August 1-7, 2018.
The World Breastfeeding Week campaign is sponsored by World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) which works globally to protect, promote and support breastfeeding. This year’s theme is, “Breastfeeding: Foundation of Life.” Many other organizations have joined WABA such as, International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA), World Health Organization (WHO), La Leche League International (LLLI), and Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) to promote breastfeeding and improve the health of babies around the world.
We, at Wildwood Pediatrics, would like to thank all of those who assist in supporting breastfeeding, especially our moms and babies!!
The doctors and nurse practitioners of Wildwood Pediatrics would like to thank our Lactation consultants for their expert and compassionate care they give daily to the parents and their babies!
